Does Buzzy Change Lab Values?
Buzzy doesn’t change lab values, because it is placed past where the blood is collected. When tourniquets are left in place for an extended time, they can change values by <2%. In one set of studies, Buzzy for two minutes changed labs LESS than a tourniquet, perhaps because of the dilation.
